Fact is we all needed to start somewhere. Nobody started with years of experience & whole set of skills in any field. Gaining new skills requires patience (with yourself), determination & a clear vision of where you want to go, even in Web3 space.
Little story time
A couple of years ago, when I was standing with my diploma at the graduation ceremony, I was proud of myself and at the same time scared of what the hell comes next. The scariest part as a young student was that nobody tells you how to tackle adult life.
(And by tackling adult life I don’t mean moving to your own place, paying the rent and taking care of yourself) - What I mean is how to successfully tackle the transition from being a student to acquiring your first working skills & to getting your first (adult) job.
When you are starting out, probably the scariest question at a job interview is: “How many years of experience do you have in this field?” And after turning pale, you figure that even at entry-level jobs, companies expect from you to have a certain amount of experience & skills for that specific role, otherwise they choose somebody else, who already acquired those skills.
In the end everything boils down to this: You need skills to get a job, but you also need a job to acquire those specific skills - Sadly this is the vicious cycle that many young job seekers fall into, and building practical Web3 marketing skills is something that we at Webtriune are motivated to help you with.
In my case the transition from a graduate to a Web3 marketer was even more daunting, since I never saw myself working as a professor of Art History & Slovenian language (which is my formal degree). This meant only one thing - I needed to work extra hard to acquire marketing skills completely from scratch as someone who wanted to pave their path into a completely new direction.
As mentioned above, acquiring new skills requires some patience & determination, but that doesn’t mean it’s not possible (speaking from experience here) - Quite on the contrary -The only thing to get ahead in Web3 marketing as a beginner is to start, be consistent and you’ll establish a great foundation for your Web3 marketing career.
